October 6–7, 2026 — ended. Amazon's fall sale is over and prices on most gear have returned to normal. The next major window is Black Friday, November 27, 2026 — walking pads and dumbbells typically see their deepest cuts of the season then. Black Friday
November 27, 2026. The single best day of the year for fitness equipment. Expect the steepest discounts — and the most fake ones.
Cyber Monday
November 30, 2026. Online-focused deals. Often matches Black Friday pricing on walking pads, with better availability on dumbbells.
December holiday sales
Through late December. Prices creep back up after Cyber Monday, but pre-Christmas promos still beat full price on most gear.
How to spot a real deal
- Check the 90-day price history. Many "50% off" walking pads sell at the "sale" price all year. A genuine deal is meaningfully below the 90-day average — not below an inflated list price nobody ever paid.
- Compare the model, not just the brand. Retailers sometimes create holiday-specific variants with cheaper motors or shorter belts. Match the exact model number against our buying guide specs.
- Watch for the capacity downgrade. The most common holiday trick on dumbbells: a "deal" set with a lower max weight than the standard version. Check the specs before celebrating.
- Don't let countdown timers rush you. Lightning deals create urgency on purpose. If a price is good, it will almost always return — Black Friday pricing on fitness gear typically repeats on Cyber Monday.
- Factor in the return window. Holiday return windows are often extended into January, which is great — but restocking fees on heavy equipment can eat your "savings." Read the fine print on treadmills and weight sets.
